Founder & CEO Kevin Lee Featured on High Truths Podcast

InHome Recovery Founder and CEO Kevin Lee recently popped into High Truths on Drugs and Addiction podcast, hosted by Dr. Roneet Lev, former Chief Medical Officer for the Office of National Drug Control Policy. She was appointed by former ONDCP Director Jim Carroll.

Kevin’s career has been focused on start-up companies that focus on changing outcomes for the better within the addiction treatment field. He’s started 6 such companies in the last 30 years, and his latest is InHome Recovery, focusing on in-home medical care for drug detox.

“I love to see people who have a behavioral health challenge meet that challenge, manage it, and have a normal, good quality of life, conduct activities and daily living,” Kevin says.

InHome Recovery isn’t just another drug rehab in Nashville. The service offers an experienced medical staff that includes a recovery coach and nurse who assess clients in the comfort of their own home. Medication-assisted treatment is provided, and the medical team checks in every day to administer meds and develop a longer-term recovery plan that goes far beyond the detox process. InHome wants their clients to succeed in life, not just in the beginning stages.

“When a person is healing from a substance abuse and/or mental illness challenge, and they’re managing that challenge and trying to cope and have a high-functioning life, being on that path to living your best life, that highest version of yourself, that is recovery to me,” Kevin added. His advice to people struggling to stay sober? “Stay on that path. Having that healthy lifestyle is to have a teammate or group of teammates, and be a part of a community where the other people are very supportive. I think that’s the key to success in recovery. We can’t do it alone.”
